Hello everyone!
It has been long since I last wrote in English, but this time I would love to share my writing with more people. Therefore, here we go….
Yesterday started the AICI Global Conference in Arlington – VA. I must confess it did not start quite well for me as our trip from NYC took much longer than expected and it was all my fault. Well, I’ve apologized for that already and have learned to double check my purse so I know my wallet is there! *BUMMER* As you know we cannot go anywhere without ID.
Nevertheless, our trip was fun as it always is when I’m around my partner and mentor Dominique Isbecque and my friend and colleague Fernanda Luchesi!
It is my first Conference and I decided I’d jump in and start as a speaker! The presentation was great, the participants very engaged and despite the initial AV technical challenges, it all worked out. I spoke about how to attract your ideal client by being true to yourself. I was very pleased with how much what I had to say resonated with the attendees.
So that I had peace of mind an angel showed up in my life and took care of my little one. So, again I have to thank the Guy up there for all support He’s given me in my career.
I had the privilege to meet many women who are experts in the Image Consulting world like Alyce Parsons, Carla Mathis, Ferrial, and my Brazilian mate, Silvana Bianchini. All of those and many more from different countries, with different specialties but one thing in common, the passion for what we do.
Anyway, maybe the highlight of the day was that I am now officially an AICI FLC certified member!
